Sendbox
How do I delete my Sendbox account?
Sendbox is the only part of The Cut with an account, created when you first signed in with Apple to add a Sendbox. Everything else in the app stays account-free, so deleting the Sendbox account does not touch your library, your other sources or your decisions.
Go to Settings → Sources and open your Sendbox.
If you have more than one, the account options are on the last one left, so delete the others first — or keep them and delete just one, as below.
Choose Delete Sendbox account and confirm.
What is removed
All of your Sendboxes, every submission they received, all of the stored audio, your storage figure and your sessions on every device. Tracks that were already in your library on this device follow the normal rules for a deleted source. What remains on our servers is the opaque identifier Apple assigned to you, with the email address removed, so that signing in again later starts a fresh account rather than colliding with the old one. The details are in our privacy policy.
Deleting one Sendbox instead
Deleting a single Sendbox source removes the tracks it received and their audio, and keeps your account and your other Sendboxes. Its handle can't be claimed by anyone — including you — for 30 days afterwards, so a change of mind isn't a chance for someone else to grab it. Deleting the whole account frees your handles immediately.
Your Apple ID and The Cut
If you stop using your Apple ID with The Cut from your Apple ID settings (Sign in with Apple → The Cut), Apple tells us and we sign you out on every device. Your account and Sendboxes stay, and pause after 45 days without you; signing in with the same Apple ID brings them back. If you delete your Apple ID altogether, Apple tells us that too and we delete your Sendbox account as above.
