Side by side, and an Apple Watch on its own
Your list and the player share the screen on iPad and iPhone Duo, the watch keeps reviewing without your iPhone, and labels arrive in filters and Statistics.
Side by side on iPad and iPhone Duo
On iPad and on iPhone Duo's inner display, your track list and the player now share the screen. Tap a track and it plays right beside the list, with your tabs still in reach. Fold, unfold or rotate and the layout follows.
Apple Watch, without your iPhone
Out with just your watch? Keep reviewing: accept, reject, rate and add notes, and iCloud syncs it all back to your iPhone, which then runs your actions. Your iPhone also copies the next tracks in your Inbox to your watch, so you can listen through Bluetooth headphones. SoundCloud streams stay on your iPhone.
Labels
Filter any list by label, and see in Statistics which labels you accept most and least. For SoundCloud tracks, the label is the account that posted them.

Step back through past weeks, months and years to see how each one went.
Flip to the next record
Accept or reject and the artwork flies off screen while the next track's card rises in from behind, like flipping to the next record in the crate. On a Mac it happens whether you decide with a key, a click or the Review menu.
Plus Now Playing text stays readable over bright artwork, the BPM and key line wraps neatly at large text sizes, dragging the waveform no longer stops the page from scrolling, deleting a source no longer signs out another one on the same account, adding a SoundCloud account you already have reconnects it instead of adding it twice, the Now Playing widget wears The Cut's purple, a crash while iCloud synced in the background is fixed, and more bug fixes and performance improvements.

Your own link for demos
Sendbox arrives in the app, Skip Intro finds where each track kicks in, and tracks without BPM or key tags get them worked out on your device.
Sendbox
Give producers one link to send you music. Claim thecut.music/send/yourname, share it in your bio, and every submission lands in your Inbox with the artist, title and message already filled in. Senders confirm their email first, so you always know who sent what. Invite a DJ and you both get extra storage.
Auto Skip Intro
Set Skip Intro to Auto and The Cut works out where each track's intro ends, so you land right where it kicks in. A Pro feature.
BPM and key, detected
On iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 and visionOS 27, tracks that arrive without BPM or key tags get them worked out on your device. A tag a track already has is never overwritten.
Search by list
Narrow a search to your Inbox, Accepted, Rejected or everything, on every device including Apple Watch. On a Mac, the tabs beside the search field and ⌘1 to ⌘4 narrow your search instead of clearing it.
Backlog over time
A new Statistics chart shows your to-review pile growing and shrinking across the period, with how many tracks came in and how many you cleared.

CarPlay
Review your inbox from the car. Your Inbox appears on the car's display, tracks play through the car's speakers, and Accept and Reject sit right on the Now Playing screen. Decide, and the next track starts.
Reminders
Don't let promos pile up. Pick the days and times you like to review and The Cut will nudge you when tracks are waiting. Reminders stay quiet when your Inbox is empty, when it's below a count you set, or when you've already been reviewing.
Keyboard shortcuts
Reviewing on an iPad with a keyboard? Press A to accept, X to reject, 1–5 to rate, Space to play or pause, and the arrow keys to move between tracks. Press ⌘/ for the full list.
A sort order for every list
Each list now keeps its own sort order. New "Last Updated" orders put the tracks you just decided on at the top of Accepted and Rejected, while your Inbox stays oldest-first.
Apple Watch
Sort and filter your lists from your wrist, by source, genre, BPM, key, rating, or date added, and every change syncs back to your iPhone. The watch app now opens straight onto Now Playing when your iPhone is mid-track.
Keeps playing
A SoundCloud track that's been deleted or made private no longer stops your session. The Cut skips past it with a quick note and carries on.
Plus faster launch and smoother scrolling in large libraries, snappier search, a fix for SoundCloud sources disconnecting on their own, and a long list of bug fixes and performance improvements.

The same promo often turns up in more than one place: a SoundCloud link in your email and the same track in your feed. The Cut now spots duplicates across all your sources and merges them into a single entry, so you review each track just once. Accept or reject it and the decision applies everywhere. Got a false match? Separate it back out in a tap.
Faster playback
Tracks now start the instant you hit play. The Cut quietly pre-loads your next track while you're listening to the current one, so there's no waiting between cuts, whatever source they come from.

Connect any email inbox over IMAP, filter your library six ways, and scrub any track by its waveform.
Email sources
Connect an email inbox and The Cut pulls in promos for you. Audio attachments and SoundCloud links from your mail land straight in your library, ready to audition. Works with any IMAP provider using an app password, and Full Re-sync re-scans your inbox whenever you change what to import.
Filters
Filter any list by source, genre, BPM, key, star rating, and date added. Stack them to zero in on exactly the tracks you're after.
Waveform scrubber
See the shape of every track and scrub straight to the drop.
AirPlay
Send playback to AirPlay devices without leaving Now Playing.
